Can't recommend highly enough for a short stint
Comfortable room, friendly staff, with excellent breakfast options that include a delicious full Welsh breakfast served in a spacious dining area, and the hotel's convenient location makes it easy to explore nearby attractions.
Nothing to improve on.

The hotel's age shows, with narrow corridors and steep stairs that may frustrate those with mobility issues. Room 29 had a noticeable slant on the floor, which felt odd underfoot, and the bed was a little too soft for my taste, making it creak unexpectedly during the night. Window frames and bath cleanliness could use attention, and while the rustic charm is nice, it feels like the aged decor could benefit from a refresh to better utilize the historical features of the building.

Had a cozy stay in a lovely room with stunning views! I loved lounging by the garden pond and taking leisurely walks through the grounds. The only hiccup was that the TV remote wasn’t working, but it didn’t ruin my experience at all. 🌸

Cozy bar vibes made evenings enjoyable.
My partner and I struggled with the discomfort of our slanted room. The floor felt dangerously uneven, leading to a rather uneasy experience. the bed made an alarming clunking noise every time we adjusted ourselves, creating a fear that it might break at any moment.

Super friendly staff!
We had a nice weekend here. The staff was super friendly and helped us a lot, especially with breakfast in the bar area. Our family room was spacious, way bigger than we thought! Just a bit noisy from the room above us, which made it hard to fall asleep. pretty chill spot for a short break.
